CLAUDE + HIGGSFIELD
THE SETUP GUIDE
One prompt,
a whole campaign
Connect Higgsfield to Claude and the work splits in two. Claude is the brain: it plans the campaign
and writes every prompt. Higgsfield is the hands: it renders the photos and the video. You describe
what you want once and approve the plan. This guide covers the setup, what it really costs today,
the exact campaign prompt and how to check the results before anything goes live.
Checked against Higgsfield's and Anthropic's help pages, October 2026. Prices, trials and model lists change often: check higgsfield.ai/pricing before you buy.
What you need before you start
| YOU NEED | WHAT TO KNOW |
| A Claude account |
Custom connectors work on every plan, Free included (one custom connector on Free). Set it up on
claude.ai or the desktop app; after that it works on mobile too. On Team and Enterprise, an Owner
adds it for the organization first. |
| A paid Higgsfield plan |
Higgsfield's help center says connecting through MCP needs an active paid subscription. Each
generation spends credits at the same rate as on higgsfield.ai, with no extra fee for MCP. |
| A Claude model |
Any current model can direct the work, and Opus 5.5 or Sonnet 5.5 is a good default. The video
used Fable 5. Fable models are included on Max, cost extra usage credits on Pro and are not on Free. |
| Your brand basics |
The product name, who buys it, two or three brand colors, and a product photo if the real
product has to appear in the shots. |
HOW THE WORK SPLITS
Claude writes the concept, the shot list and a precise prompt for every piece, and picks a model for
each one. Higgsfield runs those prompts on its own servers with more than 30 image and video models,
such as Soul, Cinema Studio, Seedance, Kling, Nano Banana Pro and GPT Image. Every finished file is
saved to your Assets on higgsfield.ai, usually within a minute. You stay the editor: you approve the
plan and pick the keepers.
Step 1: connect Higgsfield to Claude
About five minutes. No API key, no code.
-
Copy the Higgsfield server address
This is the only thing you paste. It has to end in /mcp.
https://mcp.higgsfield.ai/mcp
-
Open Customize, then Connectors
On claude.ai or in the desktop app, open Customize and choose
Connectors. Higgsfield's own help page still calls it Settings, then Connectors.
It is the same place.
-
Click Add custom connector
Name it Higgsfield, paste the address into the URL field and click
Add. Leave the advanced settings empty.
-
Click Connect and sign in to Higgsfield
A Higgsfield window opens. Sign in or create an account, pick a paid plan if you do not have one,
and authorize Claude. Higgsfield now shows in your list of connectors.
-
Switch it on in a chat and test it
Open a new chat, click the + button, go to Connectors and turn
Higgsfield on. Then ask: "What is my Higgsfield credit balance?" If a number comes
back, you are connected.
ON A TEAM OR ENTERPRISE PLAN
An Owner adds it once in Organization settings, then Connectors:
click Add, then Custom, choose Web if asked, paste the
address and click Add. Each person then opens Customize, then Connectors, finds
Higgsfield with the Custom label and clicks Connect.
USING CLAUDE CODE INSTEAD?
For Claude Code, Higgsfield recommends its command line tool over the connector. Ask Claude Code to run
these two lines, then finish the sign in that opens in your browser.
npm i -g @higgsfield/cli
higgsfield auth login
Step 2: the campaign prompt
The matcha launch from the video, rebuilt so Claude shows you the plan and the cost
before it spends a single credit. Replace everything in [BRACKETS].
CLAUDE PROMPTCOPY EVERYTHING IN THIS BOX
You are my creative director. Use the Higgsfield connector to build a launch campaign for [PRODUCT, e.g. a new iced matcha latte] from [BUSINESS NAME].
About the brand
Who buys it: [CUSTOMER, e.g. office workers near the shop, 25 to 40]
The feeling: [MOOD, e.g. calm, fresh, a little premium]
Colors: [2 OR 3 BRAND COLORS]
Never show or say: [WHAT TO AVOID]
Step 1. Plan first, generate nothing yet
Check my Higgsfield credit balance. Write a short concept and a shot list for the pieces below. For each piece, tell me which Higgsfield model you will use and how many credits it will cost, then give me the total. Wait for my OK.
The pieces
1. Three product shots, 4:5: [SCENE, e.g. on a marble counter in soft morning light]. The product must look the same in all three.
2. One video ad, [10 OR 15] seconds, 9:16: [MOMENT, e.g. a slow motion pour over ice]. No text on screen.
3. A five slide carousel, 4:5: slide 1 is the hook, slides 2 to 4 give one benefit each, slide 5 says [CALL TO ACTION]. Six words or fewer per slide.
4. The Instagram caption and three opening lines for the video.
Step 2. After I approve
Generate the pieces one by one in the same look and show me each one as it finishes. If a render fails, tell me before you try again.
Four habits that save credits
- Approve the plan first. Credits are spent the moment a render starts. Higgsfield's own advice is to have the agent tell you the cost and wait for your confirmation, which is what Step 1 of the prompt does.
- Real product? Say so before it generates. Tell Claude you have a product photo. It opens the Higgsfield upload window inside the chat and uses your file as the reference. A photo attached to the message the usual way may never reach Higgsfield.
- Fix one piece at a time. "Redo shot 2 with the glass closer to the camera" costs one render. "Do it all again" costs the whole campaign.
- Keep the model that worked. Claude picks a model for each piece. When one look is right, tell it to use that same model for the next round so the campaign stays consistent.
IF IT DOES NOT CONNECT
On the Free plan, another custom connector may already use your one slot. If Claude stops reaching
Higgsfield after a while, disconnect it in Customize, then Connectors, and connect again. If Claude
answers without using Higgsfield, check that the toggle under + and
Connectors is on in that chat.
What to do in the next hour
One real product, one campaign, one post scheduled by the end.
| MINUTES | DO THIS | WHY |
| 0 to 10 | Connect Higgsfield and ask for your credit balance | Proves it works before you spend anything |
| 10 to 20 | Fill in the brackets of the campaign prompt for one real product | A brief from your business, not a demo |
| 20 to 30 | Read the plan and the cost Claude sends back, change what is off, approve | The cheapest moment to fix the idea |
| 30 to 50 | Let it render, then ask for one fix on the weakest piece | Learn how far one round of feedback goes |
| 50 to 60 | Download the keepers from your Assets and schedule one post | Something live today, not a test folder |
CHECK BEFORE YOU POST
Look at the product label, the text on every slide and any hands at full size: small text and
fingers are where AI images still slip. One clip is 15 seconds at most, so a longer ad is several
clips edited together. And if a shot uses a real person's face or another brand, read the terms of
the model that made it before it goes in an ad.
WHAT ABOUT THE FREE TRIAL FROM THE VIDEO?
Higgsfield has run short offers for new users, like the 3 day trial with 100 MCP credits in the
video. It needed a card and turned into a paid plan unless you cancelled. Offers come and go, and
today Higgsfield's help center says MCP needs an active paid subscription. The free renders on
higgsfield.ai do not count for generations made through Claude. Check the pricing page before you
sign up, and set a reminder to cancel any trial you do not want to keep.
WHEN THE FIRST CAMPAIGN WORKS
On higgsfield.ai/mcp, Higgsfield lists ready made workflow bundles for Claude, like the Paid Ads
bundle, each with a Try in Claude button. Try them once your own prompt gives you results you like,
and keep the same rule: plan and cost first, renders second.
