CLAUDE RUNS MY BIZ / 31
THE FULL PROMPT PACK

The LinkedIn
X-Ray

Two prompts for Claude, plus a bonus. The first one turns your profile into a scored X-ray: eight categories, a score out of ten for each, and the three changes to start with. The second one turns that diagnosis into an action plan with examples you can paste straight into LinkedIn, built only from your real experience. The bonus one plans your posts. Paste them in order, in the same conversation.

Use it in Claude.ai or the Claude desktop app, where Claude can build the artifacts. September 2026.

Before you paste anything
Claude can only judge what it can see. Give it the three files below.
  1. Save your profile as a PDF

On LinkedIn in a desktop browser, click Me, then View profile. In the introduction section click the Resources button (older accounts still call it More) and pick Save to PDF. This is not available in the mobile app, and LinkedIn only exports profiles set to English.

  2. Screenshot the top of your profile

The PDF does not include your photo or your banner, and those two are the first thing anyone sees. Take one screenshot showing the banner, photo and headline together.

  3. Screenshot your activity

Scroll to the Activity section and screenshot your most recent posts, with the reactions and comments visible. If the section says you have not posted recently, screenshot that too. It is part of the diagnosis.

  4. Start one conversation and keep it open

Upload the PDF and both screenshots into a new Claude chat, paste Prompt 1 and send everything together. Prompt 2 goes in the same conversation, because it reads the X-ray Claude just built.

FILL IN THE FOUR LINES UNDER "MY INFORMATION" Prompt 1 has four blanks: your name, your main goal on LinkedIn right now, your target field or role and your current situation. Fill all four before you send, and be specific. "Attract clients for my architecture studio" gets a sharper X-ray than "grow on LinkedIn". A profile that tries to impress everyone impresses nobody.
Prompt 1: the X-ray
Send it together with the PDF and the two screenshots. Fill in the four lines under "My information" first.
PROMPT 1 · THE X-RAYCOPY EVERYTHING IN THIS BOX
You will act as an expert LinkedIn and recruiting analyst. Analyze my profile using ONLY the files I sent in this message (the PDF exported from my profile, the screenshot of my photo and banner, and the screenshot of my activity) and the information below. Do not invent or assume any data that isn't in one of those places. If any required information is not available, mark that category as "insufficient data" and list at the end what is missing to complete the analysis. My information: Name: [your name] Main goal with LinkedIn right now: [e.g., land an internship or job, attract clients, build authority, network] Target field or role: [e.g., architecture, marketing, data, sales] Current situation: [e.g., student, 2 years of experience, switching fields, looking for a new position] After analyzing the files and this information, generate an HTML artifact (a single file, with embedded CSS, with no external dependencies) called "LinkedIn X-Ray", following this structure: Dark header, in a navy blue tone, with: a small label "PROFILE DIAGNOSIS - GENERATED WITH CLAUDE", the title "LinkedIn X-Ray", a line with the analyzed name, the current headline (or "no headline set") and the stated goal. If any essential data is missing, show a "PARTIAL" badge in the corner of the header. Overall score: a visual indicator (arc or circle) showing a score from 0 to 10, calculated as the average of the 8 categories below. Large number, easy to read, with nothing overlapping on top of it. Section "Where the profile gains and loses points": a progress bar for each of the 8 categories, each with a score from 0 to 10, red if the score is below 4, yellow between 4 and 7, green above 7, and a short 1 to 2 line comment explaining the reason for the score, based only on what was found in the files: Profile photo Banner/cover Headline About/Summary Experience, including date consistency between roles Skills Featured Activity: posting frequency, engagement, whether it's up to date Section "Where to start": the 3 highest-impact changes, in order of priority, numbered 01, 02, 03, each indicating the category and objectively explaining why that change matters more than the others. If any data is missing to fully complete the analysis, show a notice in the footer explaining exactly what is missing and how I could send that information in a follow-up message. Design rules, do not skip any: Light background with dark text (or the reverse), always with good contrast. Never text over an image without a layer that guarantees readability. Body text font at least 15px, supporting text at least 13px. No tiny type. No text overlapping bars, icons, or graphic elements. Responsive layout, designed mobile-first, always in a single column. Use only data that comes from the files or the information I provided above, nothing invented.
HOW TO READ THE X-RAY Claude builds a page with an overall score, a bar for each of the eight categories and a "Where to start" list. Check the header first: a PARTIAL badge means something was missing, and the footer says exactly what. Send the missing piece in a follow up message and ask Claude to regenerate the X-ray before you move on. Then read the comments under the red and yellow bars. When Claude quotes your own headline back to you and explains what a recruiter reads into it, that is the part that changes your mind.
Prompt 2: the action plan
Same conversation. Claude already has the diagnosis, so this one only tells it how to turn it into a plan.
PROMPT 2 · THE ACTION PLANCOPY EVERYTHING IN THIS BOX
Now, using the LinkedIn X-Ray you just generated for me in this same conversation, build a complete action plan for me to improve my profile. Use only what has already been gathered from the files, my previous answers, and the X-Ray artifact, without inventing any new data. Generate a new HTML artifact (single file, embedded CSS, same visual identity as the X-Ray: navy blue, light background, bars and labels), called "Action Plan - LinkedIn X-Ray", with this structure: A header in the same style as the X-Ray, with the title "Action Plan" and one line summarizing the current overall score. A "Start here" section: the 3 quickest actions to take, each one taking less than 15 minutes, designed for someone who has little time today. A "Full plan" section, organized by the same 8 categories from the X-Ray, in the priority order you defined there. For each category scoring below 7, include: what is wrong today, based on the diagnosis what to do to fix it, step by step whenever it makes sense, a ready-to-use example I can copy and paste, for example: 3 headline options, a draft for the About section, or a message script to ask for a recommendation. These examples must be based on my field, my goal, and my real experience, never generic. A final "After applying" section: a simple suggestion of when I could generate a new X-Ray to compare my progress. Design rules: the same as in the previous message. Readable font, no overlapping text, mobile-responsive layout, and no invented data.
READ EVERY EXAMPLE BEFORE IT GOES ON YOUR PROFILE The plan only uses what you gave it. If the About draft feels thin, the fix is giving Claude more facts, a project, a result, a number, and asking for the draft again. Do not ask it to make the examples "stronger" on their own, that is how invented claims get in. A confident sentence you cannot back up in an interview or a sales call is worse than a plain one.
THREE FOLLOW UPS THAT MAKE THE PLAN BETTER
  • "Make the About sound like me." Paste two or three posts or emails you actually wrote and ask Claude to redo the About draft in that voice. The first draft always sounds a little like everyone else.
  • "Show me how my target role is searched." Ask which words a recruiter or a buyer would type into LinkedIn search for someone in your field, and whether the new headline and skills contain them.
  • "Generate a new X-ray." After you apply the plan, export a fresh PDF, take new screenshots and run Prompt 1 again. If the overall score barely moved, the changes were cosmetic and you should push on the headline and the About.
Bonus prompt: the activity plan
Still the same conversation. Activity is the category nobody fixes in fifteen minutes, so this one plans it.
BONUS PROMPT · THE ACTIVITY PLANCOPY EVERYTHING IN THIS BOX
Last step. My activity is the part of the profile that is hard to fake, so build me a posting plan that matches the new positioning. Using everything in this conversation, give me: 1. Three content pillars, each with one sentence on why it builds trust with my ideal reader. 2. Ten post ideas. For each: a first line that stops the scroll, the format (text, carousel, image or short video) and which pillar it belongs to. 3. A two week schedule, three posts a week, saying which post goes on which day. 4. A five minute daily engagement routine: whose posts to comment on and what a good comment looks like. Then write the first post in full, ready to publish today.
What to do in the next hour
DO THIS TODAY LEAVE FOR LATER
The three "Start here" actions from the plan. A new photoshoot. Use the best photo you already have.
Change the headline. It shows up in every comment, search result and DM. Rewriting every job from ten years ago.
Put the banner text on a plain background in Canva. Collecting new recommendations. Ask once the profile is fixed.
Publish the first post from the bonus prompt. Trying to post every day. Three a week is enough.
THE POINT Your profile is read by people who have already decided to check you out. It does not need to be clever. It needs to say who you help, prove it, and make the next step obvious. Claude cannot give you the proof, but it can stop you from hiding the proof you already have.
